Not true. He may not be as charismatic as Smith, but he has the respect of the athletes that were under both of them. They were sad to see Smith go, but happy with Cornfield. NAU will recruit to make a great team. Being No 1 in the nation does not necessarily make you the "best" team. I would rather my kid be in a team that comes 5th than in a team where they are not respected and nurtured. They are still kids, no pro athletes.
