Goes from nowhere in contention in Stockholm to running a 52 in sub 13 race. Sorry, I don’t believe it. Moan and complain all you want but he wasn’t the best at anything this year.
Can you describe what a non-suspicious race outcome would have looked like?
Most people with any knowledge of athletics knows he has always been dodgy.
Knocked 10 seconds off his PB in 2020/21,then magically zero tests before the Olympics and another big improvement, now he had lots of tests early this year and done poorly,USADA tell him he has had his tests for the year and he improves again.

Been following the sport for over 20 years. It is not uncommon for runners to time their peak perfectly and have stellar races in the finals after a mostly unexciting season. It is also not uncommon for runners to run spectacular races throughout the year and then come up far short in the WC/OC finals. Hocker said in a post-race interview that he trained specifically for this race and that final kick all year long, and I believe him. Not the best example to use in talks of cleanliness, but we saw the same thing with Rupp and Farah. It became clear that winning championship races was simply not possible without having a blazing kick, and so that's what they worked on. I don't see Cole Hocker's wins as suspicious at all, just impressive as hell.

Any African is supect, no matter who they are competing for.
Cole was best when it counted in the 5k 😀.
Hocker once again showed he knows how to peak, and that he finally realized it’s best to not ride the rail on the last lap with a bunch of guys in front of him.
Hocker peaked just right, he knows he can’t hold a peak for 6 months like Berardelli’s PED loaded athletes (Wanyonyi etc).
Yeah, like Viren. Doesn't win a race all year and then toys with the world when it counts. Do they have reindeer milk where he trains?

He isn't suspicious. He is blatant. But that's where the sport is.

We are seeing this throughout the sport. A whole bunch of Kenyans, certain Brits, Australians and so on. All too good to be true. Hocker is just better known here because this is an American site.

I think his progression proves he's not doping. Dude can't be in top shape all year long like the dopers. He has to peak to win and that means not having your cake and eating it too (win all year and at the Champs). Dude is a boss.

It is easier to dope for a one-off than to dope all year and not get popped.
So why can't dopers peak - like he does? It isn't rocket science.

Unlike you, I do. And that's why I can be objective while you cry when I point out that Beamish is like Hocker.
You aren't objective. The meaning of your life would disappear if you recognised how far doping has taken over the top level of the sport. It's right in front of us in every championship final. The enhanced Games.
