I hear what you're saying, but Norwood's PR is 44.10 from 2024. Tied for 26th best time since Jan 1 2015, 18th since Jan 1 2020. Gotta respect his longevity and consistency (first broke 45 in 2015!), but he's never been the best in the world.
That said, every time I see Norwood race I always hope for this to be the day.

Won't solve the real problem, which is trusting an unreliable mechanism. For many problems having the model do the work and checking it afterwards should still be much faster than doing the work yourself, but you need to check.
