posters here are so lame...everyone was justifying Centro running 3:50...not every race needs to be 3:30 or faster..Nuguse won't make WCs by winning DL...he needs to win DL final and now he is building confidence re-working his race plan to be at his best in Tokyo. Running super fast race in Poland don't mean sh*t.

Yeah we know Yared Nuguse can run fast - he's the 11th fastest man in history.
But he was the best runner on paper in that field and should be expecting to win that race - and he did. It could have been a 4min race it doesn't matter, he won it and while it wasn't a gangbusters field it was still a very good one with a number of sub 3.30 guys in it and guys that have medals from major champs in it.
I actually think this was the perfect race for him before Zurich, and I hope he doesn't run Brussels. It wasn't a brutal sub 3.30 race and he did a number of small things right that he's going to need to do to win the DL final. Winning can be contagious in this sport and the victory + the manner of victory sets him up nicely. He just needs to recharge the battery now - no need to race again as he's in the final.
I like that when introduced in Silesia, he had his game face on instead of hiding signed jerseys in the stadium and making bird flight hand signs with a Pokémon grin. He was focused and raced to earn his spot and now is one step closer. Good for him and good for USA.

i really like how the 1500 is playing out.
you dont know how things will play out.
kerr laros jacob nuguse hocker
the drug out old man and ped kenya child who is 23 ish probably untested
hoey kessler random kenyans, australia wonderkind, up and coming american, who else?
the guys that are hot right now is Hocket and Laros, Kerr is very well positioned.
i guess the call is hock kerr laros at champs. 123
all 3,have big 5 k wins, and can kick of course.
you could put money on laros with good odds, due to the fact that if he is a Goat type, these people do outrageous spectacular things.
also, the complete varity of races is very entertaining, the pre, us champs, diamond.
while the climax of having all the top guys bring the A game isnt probably in the cards, this is an unprecidented epic season.
in the past, there were only one or two super elites active at the same time.
ryan keno
snell and who?
walker bay
true you had coe ovett cram and elliot who's A game was as good as anyone.
now there a dozen guys
while there are a couple of EPO /,blood boost guys in the mix, as defined by the senior members on the boards, they are not predominant at this point, as they have entered the testing pool of late, and the sause wears off partially...
so the feel is that it is an even playing field, that said, not being on the inside, on site.
We've got the best overall team entered in the meet. You might consider him a transfer-in but then we have Mondo transfer out. What's the difference, twit? Does Nuguse have dual citizenship? And so what if he does? Let's imagine a world club championship instead of wearing country issued uniforms maybe they just wear their corporate unis. Nah! USA, USA, USA!
No rebuttal to the content of my post and just acts confused like no one knows what they are talking about. Everything I said was clearly stated. Making my morning entertaining with this reading comprehension 😂
Why would anyone bother rebutting the content of your post when its irrelevant to the post you replied to? 😂
What do you think a screenshot of your post is proving? 😂😂😂😂😂
OMG 😂 you are unhinged
honestly what did you possibly think sending me a screenshot of your post that I clearly read and is irrelevant to this conversation would accomplish? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Not sure who would "hate" on Nuguse. Good dude and great runner. Unfortunately, your post is incorrect. "He and Koech are the only Americans capable of winning Diamond League 1500's". I think Hocker is more than CAPABLE of winning a DL 1500. Kinda sounds like your throwing shade on other American 1500m runners.
Yeah, I don't get the "haters" comment either. Yared seems like a good dude. So does Hocker and so does Kessler. They are world-class driven athletes or they simply wouldn't be as good as they are, but none of them deserve our "hate". Right now, the USA is relevant in a really exciting era of 1500m running and it's pretty awesome to watch. We even have others, like Green, coming up as well.
I can imagine the moaning if the USA didn't have anyone with their credentials running right now and we were watching Jakob and Laros and Kerr and Wightman all fighting it out and we had no one is the mix. Every other thread would be: "Why isn't the USA relevant in the 1500?" "What can we do to develop better talent to compete with the rest of the world??"

You're forgetting a certain norwegian! He is still the favourite.
