Richardson definitily should not have been yelling and shoving him, especially not in a public setting, but Coleman was also playing a big part in the altercation and was not so innocent. She kept trying to talk with him face to face, but he kept turning, bumping against her and walking away - which I feel was completely the wrong response. She wanted to talk with him and he kept bumping and pushing her away and she kept trying to face them. -- They were both in the wrong in that situation.

Any time shacarri does something dumb it brings out her moron fans. This has got to be one of the dumbest takes in the history of this message board

Coleman did the correct thing by repeatedly walking away. I've had an ex-girlfriend like this, that knows full well that you wouldn't hit a woman regardless of the provocation, so will repeatedly lash out to try and get a rise out of you.
Any sane, rational individual gets the message and also walks away to cool down, but she can't help herself and gets increasingly confrontational, which can happen in heated moments in a relationship.
However, if this is what she feels empowered to behave like in full view of the public, I can only imagine what Coleman has to endure behind closed doors.
I have no doubt he would have immediately lost every sponsor and been vilified as an abuser by the entire media complex had he retaliated in the slightest. It’s nearly a certainty we would have received a half-sided news story stating Coleman had slapped or shoved Richardson. It takes a great deal of self control and composure to keep your emotions in check during such an emotionally charged situation, especially for someone of his status with so much to lose.
Of course he would have.
And you just know that come the World Championships, SCR will be the darling of NBC all over again - just reaffirm that this behavior has zero consequences in the eyes of the media.
You can hear it now - Leigh Diffeys f---ing annoying voice gushing about her as the defending 100m champion, Lewis in the mixed zone her best friend. Ato and Sonya forthright in their praise about the "new" Sha'Carri (for the 87th time on a broadcast).
The thing is, long term none of this does her a favor because this "track life" certainly doesn't last forever.

There isn't much secret from within the track and field world that she has a serious disorder of some sorts (a psychological one). But she's fast (when the "circumstances" are "right") and everyone wants to bend over backwards for her, terrified to potentially be her victimizer - so all of it gets swept under the rug because she always makes for a great story - as we've seen time and time again.
The fact that people still believe the nonsense from the trials in 21 (and that it's still spoken about by the media), just confirms that. When this career is over and the money and fake adulation is gone, it's going to be a trainwreck.
Women are routinely murdered by their romantic partners. It's hard to find data, but in the US it's around 1000 women a year. In 2021, data suggests it was more like 1700. So 1000 - 2000 women are MURDERED by their boyfriends or husbands in the US alone every year. Is that an easy card in life?
Men are about 90% of homicide victims…
2,000 per year!? Some quick math, that's 38, 39 a week. Unbelievable .
Anyway, seems she's the violent one in her relationships.
But more so that it was in an airport and right in front of TSA agents. You know how you can't f--k around and be a funny guy at the airport with certain topics? It's like this with any act of aggression and violence too because of what that implies.
You couldn't be more stupid to behave that way exactly where she did. But it's Sha'Carri - she do what she do.
America, the land of pssies and wimps. Imagine if I, in my country, went to the police station: " I want to file charge against my wife. She pushed me yesterday". I would get a blank stare and then I would be thrown out.
