Ive been a college head coach and now near retirement coaching high school. Why all the worry about professional track. High school and youth track is healthier than ever. Participation numbers are off the charts. The meets that people are interested in Penn, Drake, Texas, Mt Sac, are doing fine. I enjoy watching the Diamond league but it’s a small audience that will never become a domestic must see. As for USATF, I’ve been a member through their many different changes since the early sixties and they’ve always been incompetent boobs.

Should we put the interns in charge of a monthly "Best of *** From Running Instagram."
If so, what accounts should we have them follow?
And I don't want to hear any criticism about how it would be "objectifying women."
For starters, the article should include men if they have some of the best pics. Plus we'd simply be using their own shots that they voluntarily put out on the Internet. If your instagram page is full of yourself putting on makeup or stretching in a bikini, isn't that on you?
It would actually be interesting to see how much cash pro runners are making off their social media presence. Compared to the stuff influencers like Paige Spirinac and Livvy Dunne post, most of the good looking female runners are posting some really tame stuff. Alicia Schmidt seems to be the only one who has really leveraged her looks to cash in on social media's thirst trap market. The odd picture of a female athlete in a bikini isn't a big deal when they are out competing in bikini bottoms and a sports bra.

I wonder how often Wejo shakes his head and regrets co-founding with this guy. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again - this is Rojos legacy, not running.
