How has a lawyer not stepped up and started litigation against these drug users? Surely one could quantify the abstract financial losses Sisson experienced in this race — which would likely be lifetime worth of money with extended sponsorships/opportunities.
SUE THIS CRIMINAL.
I'm sure it would be a slam dunk. Hard part is the enforcement - Chepnegitch would never listen to a US court asking for money.
How far was Sisson behind chepngetich when she came 2nd? Because if it was more than a few minutes she still would have probably lost if chepngetich had been clean.
chepngetich was a 222 marathoner for the duration of her prime years.
women can run under 220 clean, but this takes real talent and the best training, add in the super courses legal vitamins, and shoes, all in, you can have something like 215.
that said, you dont have a chick running a mile quicker than the above max.
now, there may be some kind of freak of nature come down the pipe, but that super goat, cannot be ranked number 100 in the world through out their prine years.
michael jordan, tiger woods, wayne gretzky, ali, nobody goes from the minors at age 28, to setting the league record by a very wide margin.
like a triple Aaa ball player that hits 25 homers a year every year, hits the bigs, and at age 29, hits 85 homers...
this is why the progerssion is so tell tale,
no you cant ban on the spot for a progression, but ratifying without the athlete having a track record of proper testing means you have to be a born sucker to believe.
this coupled with agents, fellow athletes that tested positive, and rampant ped use all combine to make a farce of the sport.
You want all top athletes to archive their urine samples self taken at home , preserved in a fridge, and sent to wada monthly. or some such.
where the testers may go back in time as required.
now some parameters may not be stable, and possibly invalidate testing, but some will keep.
none the less, this archive of urine samples, i would say, would be a huge deterrent.
huge.
and at the end of the day, you do not have to do expensive testing, only hit athletes that red flag and win prize money.
There should be retrospective punishments with doping. You lose every medal, win and record along with a lifetime ban. Clean athletes deserve better than what they're getting.
The Law & Order set tends to be against us as they say that you could be punishing an innocent person. But I think you simply have to Punish these people retroactively because it really doesn't punish anyone But that person. And you can't have records sitting out there that nobody's going to be able to break. It's also the whole concept of a deterrent... when you're trying to decide whether to dope you have to consider not only being suspended but whether you want to have your entire "former non-doping career" wiped out?
They're trying to conceal the true reason for performances across both men and womens 800-marathon skyrocketing since the rollout of the c v 19 inject ion in 2021.
The beast from the bottomless pit has possessed those who consented to being injected. We are witnessing a higher power species running these times.
These people are no longer natural/organic(as in the way God intended humanity to be), they are transhumanoid vessels possessed by higher power beings.

Frankly if Emily can run 2:18 clean and Hassan 2:13 and Paula pre shoes 2:15z I could believe the world record’s 2:115:51. 2:09? No
Wellll, maybe don't assume Hassan is completely clean. But if she is, at least Hassan has run incredibly fast over a long period of time and has been very consistent as the best. It seems PEDs make people very volatile with their performances, suddenly making a jump and then going back to normal if they're not on their good doses. And comparing Emily's 2:18 to 2:09, those are very far apart, and Emily running 2:18 is world class competitive. The 2:09 was clearly too good to be true, and nowhere near other performances from the best of the best that are assumed to be clean.
She even wrote, "you can only take my word" and plenty of very guilty dopers in the past have passionately defended themselves with words.
From a purely objective reasoning standpoint, the only reason we can believe her is she has not yet triggered a positive test. All the other words and sentiments are simply not proof and faith-based.
This is the state of the sport. Great performances or athletes don't really get the benefit of the doubt any longer because of the bad ones.
There is not one athlete who would surprise me if they tested positive. Of course, I have favorites who I hope don't trigger a positive, but no one would be a surprise.

What has been something that has been hard for me to swallow lately, is feeling like trying to keep up has really taken a toll on my body. I try to keep things light and positive but when news like this breaks it feels like a punch in the gut.
To any young athletes out there that might think everyone is cheating or must have a TUE, I know you can only take my word, but I promise it is possible to make it to the world stage without doing so. Don't lose hope. ❤️"
Sisson took second to Chepngetich in 2022 Chicago.

While I can in fact sympathize with Emily, this vilification of TUEs is out of touch. There are some athletes, elite and otherwise, that have valid medical reason to be on a medication and do not abuse the privilege. For some, these meds can be lifesaving. Emily Sisson and Josh Kerr are on a bit of a high horse with the TUE issue. It must be nice that they don’t have a disease or chronic illness to contend with.
TUE gives them an advantage they wouldn't have otherwise had. It gives them an ADVANTAGE over their normal self. They already have extraordinary running mechanics........they already have the highest VO2 Max ever recorded........and you want to give them a TUE on top of everything else.
A TUE is doping.
Valid medical/life saving reason of sexual performance.
You want to compete with a TUE how about pickleball, which wouldn't give you a 2 minute advantage.
Unfortunately, everyone is suspect these days but if someone fails a drug test, they are no longer suspect. They are guilty and need to be erased. You can’t say that they must have been clean up to the day they failed a test.

Ha ha ha hah, mods must be crazy. My post #7 saying she must be 100% clean coz why else would she post that is deleted. I suppose mods think Sisson isn’t 100% clean, so my post was removed for being misinformation? Very funny nevertheless.

Let's not forget the agents and coaches. They both know first hand whether their athlete is cheating or not. If they don't, they're either lying or are fu^&ing idiots, or both.
I've said it over and over, the punishment needs to be cranked up, not just stripping them of medals and wins, but substantial financial consequences.
