WA DL charity meetings pay no rent. Free is part of the public service. Free seat tickets at most DLs. All volunteers put on the show except the janitors, hot dog sellers, etc. PK pays the bills at HF in the US, HF is rent free, but PK still failed at the dismal WC22, OT24, PreXX, etc. failures in spite of his kindness.

The ruling classes promote extreme elitism for the purpose of demoralizing the masses and also making "winners" our idols to replace God and virtue.
Elite athletes are ringfenced off from justice. Doping is allowed when your in the club. People are too trusting of other human beings. People lie and cheat a lot, and they do it because it works. It's not who you are it's who people think you are. Dumbos think your only guilty when your caught
The USA is peak "Self-interest is God". Lance Armstrong will always be a winner, as Gordon Gekko was. But virtue is what maintains the tribe and they routinely have to do grand interventions in their corrupted societies because self-interest will always lead to greed and selfishness.
And money printers don't need to make money. If you think those in charge of money printing don't pick winners your deluded. They should rein it in and start leading with proven virtues. But they won't because they are greedy and they want you to be too. That way you will leave them alone.

The biggest mistake MJ seems to have made with this league is accepting investor money based on unreasonable viewership/attendance metrics. Bill Ackman is not getting nearly enough hate if the athletes continue to not get paid. PoS pulling money out of a league that was on an upward trajectory meet-to-meet and was honestly doing slightly (only slightly) better than my low expectations. What a freaking grinch. It takes more than one season to build something at that scale. MJ obviously made some over-reaching promises here, but I blame Ackman more than anyone else.
isn't it possible that Bill Ackman paid his share, but MJ mismanaged it? I don't see why not one is considering whether the money was embezzled.
