Most of this course is basically a dirt road in terms of technicality, if Roche drops it's due to having a fragile ego not weak ankles. Besides if Roche has such weak ankles, hire a PT to tape them up for races.
Not quite. There are a lot of rocks. Get complacent ... roll an ankle. Down-slopes with switchbacks are another place where weak ankles can give way.
Bit of a shake up at Miller's defeat. Ruhling with a 20s lead over Olson and Myers. Kilian and Roche over a minute back. Farvard and Mogavero going backwards (over 2 mins back)
Hans Troyer has joined the lead group at Dusty Corner to make a group of 4. Kilian 1.40 back. Roche and Chris Myers chip's have gone awol. Myers confirmed visually to be at the front of the race, no pictures of the Kilian group so no idea where Roche is.

Roche is in fifth at mile 39. Chip didn't read.

That's clearly Roche's race over, then. Hoped he'd deliver a little more than that!
Commentary says Roche came through in 5th, but not tracker picked up. Don't give up on him yet.
