Hey everyone, just to update you - Parker, Heather, and Emily have all left the group. The rumor is that Elle might be next and that she won't be coming back. So, at the moment, no one is left in the group. Seems like a BTC and we all know what happen there

What OAC has going for them is Ritz has better familiarity with the current professional track landscape from the athlete side of things at that elite level than any other pro coach. a different coach might have had klecker bang his head against the wall on the track for a few more years

ON treats athletes, or at least plans to, a bit differently. Klecker&Ritz along with ON were co-founders of ON group.

If Klecker wants it, he could be a 'lifer' with ON. After running, they would be happy to have him in mgt, or coaching.

Of course he has plenty of other life options, including dental school.

The true test of this theory will be watching what ON does with their core athletes, as they hit 30.

ON brand still growing like crazy worldwide, so plenty of money. If the early athletes had shares in their packages, they are doing quite well.

Sounds like stress fracture in her foot, but she says she’s close, and will be back on the track soon. I don’t think she has to be in Florida, but chose to rehab down there. It does seem like a good possibility that she doesn’t like Boston.

Tough to please everyone when there are three sub-4 1500m runners in the group, all from lower profile programs, and then a younger, prettier collegiate star with a national following and a much bigger contract, but not the same performance level, is added to the group.

The problem is HE IS someone in the group's actual father. And if there's drama between all of the girls, he cant jump in without seeming biased towards his daughters side.

Stress fracture is not a “minor injury”.

it’s usually at least 8 to 12 weeks before you can come back. She deleted her Instagram on April 29, so she probably got diagnosed on or before that date.

Wonder why her father said that it was a minor injury

It seemed like Coogan had a good thing going, it's a shame to see it implode like that. The good news is that he's an excellent coach with a few open spots to fill. Someone will be lucky to move into those places.

If she got it in early March, then she should be pretty much ok by now (unless it’s a really bad one)

-Navicular stress fracture

-Femoral neck stress fracture

-Tibial plateau stress fracture

That’s 4 to 6 months (maybe more).

Again, who the heck calls a navicular stress fracture ”a minor injury”

It’s one of the more major ones

She will not be at the US championship. Her summer is done. She is now training for indoor

I didn’t understand the choices. I appreciated his videos, but I watched in trepidation. There was a lot of roadwork. I distinctly remember one session of hill reps in Boston on some road. McLean was popping off the ground. (But she has been injured in the past there, remember?)

In post-workout photos, there would be Valby, with her shoes off. I cringed “Were her feet hurting her?” Seriously, doesn’t she have a plate and/or screw(s) in a foot from previous injury??
