I agree that there's likely a ton of people on the list, but I'm not sure about the second part. Even if they tried to use it to their advantage, it wouldn't have changed a single vote.

You don't understand the law. If Musk's statement that Trump is in the files is correct, there is no defamation. He isn't required to clarify that Trump isn't in the files for any illegal acts, because he didn't say that Trump was.
