Matt Choi already brought doping into running. Though he went back to Hyrox. So hopefully that fad is over with.

Watch the race again. Definitely wasn't a sit and kick. Dude was on the rail in the lead the whole race after things settled in. He was in 2nd place for maybe 2-3 seconds.
It was a sit and kick type of race. But you can't really say he sat on the rail in 1st place then kicked. Doesn't compute that somebody could "sit" in 1st place.
Was anyone else there? I was. I’m a mid 40s female but was in the red corral. I kept looking over thinking, ummm…is that Centro?! It can’t be. I ran well enough, it wasn’t that fast and I finished as one of the first females. Was pretty proud til I realized there were actual olympians there, wtf. I actually have a day job and that’s why I was there lol.
also for those saying course wasn’t 3.5 I came up with a bit over 3.7. But Chicago gps is trash. It was cold and very windy. Great time and nice surprise to see him.
