I’ve been surprised I haven’t got one package advertised to me. I normally get inundated with package offers because I’ve been to events. I would have thought a package deal at a 5 star hotel including GST would have been put together. For example, today I got solicited for tickets to the Winter Olympics in a package (which I have no interest in) I get hit with Olympic world athletics Super Bowl final 4 almost non stop. It’s certainly not because places like letsrun don’t fill the page with ads.

i did see they want the youngest audience possible. So presumably that’s all online or tv. Because youngsters don’t have the money to attend in big numbers. I was a bigger fan in the teens and 20s but had no money.

on another subject completely I’m interested to see how Centro does. I love listening to him but once he starts talking he can go forever. Be interesting to see how he fits in with the others also having to talk

I heard from "someone who knows" that a 1hr run with Centro is a chance for you to completely zone out - because Centro will do all the talking. 😂

I must confess to only just realizing that the meets are all 4 weeks apart. I was worried about what 8 races will do to certain people, but the spacing is a very key factor.

It’s a bummer to hear any negativity about GST. All we do is talk about how we want an NFL or NBA for track runners. Now a group has invested MILLIONS of dollars to bring this idea to life and I hear the typical negative Nancie’s finding any possible way to complain. A few aspects I don’t agree with personally but here is the kicker…. An idea will never be 100% agreed upon. Ninety percent of GST I agree with. No one else is stepping up to the plate so GST…. I am ALL IN! Rally behind the sport we love or do something about it and start your own series

Yes - I've been very critical of TRP in a couple of other threads (which I'm convinced that they started and contributed to.)

Long term, I'm not subscribing to watch this when it doesn't have any field athletes and there are several alternative meets that aren't locked behind paywalls and actually involve the whole sport.
