A harder, "faster" track for sprints, hurdles and jumps is not always preferable for distance events. See Tokyo in 1991.
FWIW I am not arguing or getting into Lievin or Millrose are or are not fast, or one is notably faster that the other. Both seem plenty quick as we've seen in the past week.
