This video explains it all. Extremely painful if I cough, lie totally flat and more.
What the hell is wrong? What have injured - is there some tiny muscle you could pull while your son is on your shoulders? How long is it gong to hurt? How can I treat it?
If I'm just sitting still, I barely notice it. I could even do a rowing machine or run without it being to bad but certain times of the day it's like 10 out of 10 pain and it's been 9 days.
Did you ask your massage therapist about it? What kind of massage was it? I'm wondering if that actually caused the injury or at least pushed it over the edge.
I also have so many random aches and pains from picking up and carrying my kids, but they are only about 25 lbs each. I still find myself asking "why does my back hurt?" I think one good thing about having twins is that we always bring a stroller or wagon regardless of their walking ability because we are just used to it being impossible to carry them both at the same time.
As much as asking LetsRun has been helpful as a starting point with many medical issues I've had before, I'd still suggest getting checked out by a doctor so you know what your recovery time should be. Bone injury vs. muscle injury (or something else).
