Carter was not a true Christian. He did not condemn homosexuality. He did not believe in the infallibility of the Bible and he did not fight against abortion. Carter believed kind acts were enough to enter the Jingdom of Heaven.

Yes, Europe appeased Hitler like Trump appeases Putin and you wish they had appeased the Soviets.
Appeased Putin so much that the EU laughed at Trump when he was screaming at them to decrease their reliance on Russian Energy (only for them to have an energy crisis following the invasion), and for Putin to wait until Trump was out of office to invade!
1. Buchanan it's almost like we collectively forgot that a complete idiot who let half the nation secede during the transition period was President. His in action gave the Confederacy time to build an army, and caused what should've been a minor insurrection to grow into a civil war that killed millions.
2. Andrew Johnson. Squandered the Civil War reconstruction period, constantly fought with Congress, didn't support granting citizenship to freed slaves who had fought in the union Army, and came within one vote for being convicted at his impeachment trial.
3. Warren Harding. A guy who was so corrupt that people legitimately thought his wife might've offed him (she didn't).
4. Herbert Hoover. The richest man to be President. Did nothing for the first four years of the Depression.
5. Richard Nixon. Created a cynical system where people no longer believe in government because of his abused of power.
The Presidents we've had since Nixon have all been, without exception, middling to at best slightly above average.
The guy tried to portray himself as a regular guy so he would carry empty suitcases onto the plane...Per the Secret Service agents. If an agent said good morning or anything to him he would completely ignore him or say something rude.
People think he was actually on a jobsite building homes for Habitat for Humanity? Yeah sure..
