Olemomoi had a couple meters over the last minute or so, then appeared to let off the gas a fraction early before taking a couple quick steps at the line to hold on. Probably shouldn't have ended up looking as compelling as it did because Olemomoi did appear in good control of it the last 400m or so

Yeah, the way you describe it makes it appear more funny than compelling. I don't think there is much to worry about with either of them. Re AL's title chances, I'm concerned about the #5. She was hanging with Dorenkamp earlier in the season, but has been lagging behind lately.

Based on current regional rankings WITH South results, it appears top 5 teams from South will get in (so Florida State, Tennessee, and Lipscomb will also advance).

Also Cheruto fell off after the first fairly slow 3000 pretty rapidly and got beat by both FL St runners who were well back of Hartman and Gapes at the ACC meet. I'd say a top 10 team, but not a top 5 team.

It looks like NC St is in good shape to make Nationals on points if need be, and thru 3K is leading with UNC for some reason well back. Bushee running for UVA. Smith not running for NC St.

Quick administrative question: Is it Jelego or Jelelgo? The Clemson XC website & her WA page show Jelelgo. TFRRS uses both. Live results usually show Jelego.
