Subarus are the median car in CO. I'll never forget my off-white '92 Loyale named Bentley. It sustained incredible snow and debauchery, multiple girlfriends puking out the window onto the passenger-side door just an urban and mountain light tank. Not as cool as the guy who made the Killdozer (which, in turn, is not as cool as Beef Supreme and the Dildozer), but she put the lotion in the basket. Hopefully the catalytic converter went to good use sold for some primo hash.
The only Subaru model that is not an effeminate mans car is the Impreza WRX or STI 4 door with the manual transmission. I wouldn't be caught dead in any of their other models.
2017 manual STI driver here. Drove across the country multiple times, nearing 100k miles, and no issues. Amazing in the snow and super fun to drive.
I have a picture on my phone of a Subaru Outback with a bunch of Trump stickers on the back, and also a sticker that says, “No Fat Chicks!” I was so confused but had to laugh.
I've got a 2015 Subaru Impreza, manual transmission. Handles great in crappy conditions, will never replace my Miata for pure fun to drive, but a lot more practical. Fits in our not huge garage next to my wife's Mini. When we stop driving to ski vacations, I'll likely go back to Mazda.

We have a similar combo.
Forester for road trips and 2x4 delivery. Miata as a daily driver.
1) Any pickup, except for the Honda Ridgeline, Ford Maverick, and Hyundai Santa Cruz.
2) Classic muscle cars
3) Truck based SUVs i.e. Toyota 4runner, Land cruiser, Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
4) Any non hybrid luxury brand car or SUV
Effeminate vehicles include all wagons like Subaru outbacks, (except maybe the Audi RS 6), electric cars, most hybrids, mini coopers.
Wrong. A vehicle isn’t manly. It’s just a vehicle. A manly mountain man like me is manly no matter the vehicle. Only someone who is insecure about their manliness would care to make a list of “manly vehicles.”
Sorry I'm not interested. If I was looking for a relationship, I would want someone with a cool car. It's astonishing how many people desperately want me to be gay.
