If you are in the Community.. isn't it just... life?
Aren't you just trying to live?
See, now you are pretending not to know things. You know what the traditional family structures are in each culture. If you go to Mexico or Russia or Nigeria you will find millions of people living inside the norms of their cultures. Those people represent the traditional norms of their societies. And yes, you can live in those countries and operate outside the norms of those communities. You'll know when that is happening because you will act and feel other than most of the people around you.
If you want to be different, go for it (I support you) but don't claim to not be different from something.
It is like when a trans-boy acts boyish (and supported for being brave in his new gender) but when we define the traits which make up "acting boyish" we are admonished for proscribing a narrow definition of how boys should act.
If there is no "way boys act" then trans-boys have nothing to aspire to, no way to look, no way to behave. Or do they? I am getting confused as to what is being asked of me (by my fellow Liberals).
Look at Chaz Bono for your answer. Chaz was proud to transition into a man because Chastity Bono was unhappy as a female.
He acts like Chaz. He is not trying to be macho, alpha or a Chad in today's terms.
He is a happy male though people might consider him effeminate by today's standards.
He seems to aspire higher than Chastity would have.
Gays--- certain runners get attacked here constantly..I won't say names... because they came out
Lesbians ---Brittney Griner is female and yet people call her a man
Bi-sexual ---People want to decide if they like men or women but accordingly it's sometimes both
Transgender -- it's realistic to not fit into your assigned gender..you do not choose it
Queer/Questioning --- Sometimes the gender feels incomplete..why?
Intersex-- they are pigeonholed but the sex is ambiguous due to genetics
Asexual -- I have never slept with anyone and don't want to...
Pansexual --- this means all genders, all sexes... not goats or dogs
Two-spirit: having a male and female spirit
We're all androgynous and have testosterone and estrogen... the distribution matters.
To say it's mentally driven is incomplete because it's more hormonal than anything
I know all those. I am pointing out that it makes us (on the Left) seem insane to say them all out like that. If people think we are insane, they will ignore real problems when we bring them up.
You are giving people the chance to lump the real problems in with things that are, at best, one-off issues. If you want to fight in the trench of "every indignity is equally bad" then you can do that, but I am picking my battles.
So yes, I am going to stop worrying about "Furry Rights Advocates Demand Stolen Land Acknowledgement for the Animals of Gaza at Berkley School Board Meeting" and focus up on not losing the election.
If you want to double down on (crazy) grievance politics, I think you are giving ammunition to your political enemies.

Right... I'll leave politics to the politicians... I'm real... and I fight for what really exists.
The politicians are voted in to battle for the border crisis, the economy, improvement in education, foreign affairs, and the lessening of crime...
But if I can light one fire that helps one person understand better the secret injustices that nobody speaks about and they tell a friend who tells more friends...then I've done my part for this particular one issue.
And this is based on what written passage in the Qur'an exactly?
In the Quran God explicitly condemns homosexuality. “When their brother Lot said to them, “Will you not fear God? Verily! I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. So fear God and obey me. I ask no reward from you, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Worlds. Must you, unlike [other] people, lust after males and abandon the wives that God has created for you? You are exceeding all bounds" (Quran 26: 161-166) There is a consensus among Islamic scholars that human beings are naturally heterosexual. Homosexuality is seen as a perverted deviation from the norm and all schools of thought and jurisprudence consider homosexual acts to be unlawful. Islam considers that our relaxed attitude in this day and age is a product of the times in which we live, where morals have been completely liquefied.
Stop listening to these Marxists who only want to tear down our society.
No group in America is persecuted today. These people are just seeking: attention, sympathy and power.
Although I do feel bad for the "T"s - they are suffering from a mental disorder that should be clinically corrected but unfortunately there are groups in this country that encourage this disorder - and it's harming children.
Can you please explain where in any holy book that persecution of said cultures is acceptable? I don't ask that you accept any belief about the culture, but can you cite where persecution is acceptable? If so, where specifically in the passages?
Don't pretend that you don't have access to search engines, the slightest research into Islam would give your answers. You're not an Islamophobe are you? Because, the Democrats demand you submit to Islam, if they're are enough Muslims in your local area to sumbit to, unless you're Israel.

Look, dude, or dudette, quit your crying. I was convicted of a horrible crime and imprisoned. But I identify as innocent. Yet society keeps me, an innocent man, behind bars. You got nothin' worse than I do, pal, or pal-ette.
Victimhood? My father beat me because he thought I was gay. He even used the term "gay as a three dollar bill" and I was 7...I didn't even know what that was.
I had a work manager call me a f***** fa**it at work while I was talking to a friend.
This is reality.
Imagine people being mistreated by a perception or worse..in reality
The expression is queer as a 3 dollar bill, not gay as a 3 dollar bill.
