Not everyone has fallen off except JakobGold - Julien Alfred - wins at Lausanne
Gold - Letsile Tebogo - wins in Lausanne & Silesia
Gold - Paulinho - wins at Lausanne
Gold - El Bakkali - wins at Silesia
Silver - Hudson-Smith - wins at Lausanne
Bronze - Femke Bol - wins at Lausanne & Silesia
Alfred hasn't raced since the Olympics. Tebogo has gotten slower each time out, from 19.46 in Paris to 19.64 in Lausanne to 19.82 in Silesia. El Bakkali had a long layoff from racing before the Olympics, so he's fresh. Hudson-Smith ran a half-second slower in Lausanne than he did in Paris. Bol has been nearly a second slower than what she ran in London.
Let's compare the times of the women's 400 finalists in Paris to what they ran in Silesia:
- Paulinho: 48.17 in Paris to 48.66 in Silesia
- Naser: 48.53 --> 49.23
- Kaczmarek: 48.98 --> 49.95
- Adeleke: 49.28 --> 50.00
- Holmes: 49.77 -->50.01
- Williams: 49.83 -->50.82
Lots of athletes have run slower than what they ran in Paris.
