He’s not flying all over the world on his own dime for no reason.
He's flying all over the world because he has free time as a result of being UNEMPLOYED.
He's trying to weasel his way into a job but it's not working.
Nobody in Silesia even knows who he is.
I don’t know anyone who is unemployed who spends their time flying to races all over the world. Unless he’s independently wealthy it doesn’t make any sense.
Also, if you click through to one of the individual editions, you can also buy (for $14.95, pre-order-discounted from $24.95) a "digital treasure trove" of photos and videos from Newbury Park's championship run:
"This Treasure Trove Download of videos and still photography will be of the highest quality, and the vast majority will never be available online. In fact, most of this material in the download will be protected, and reposting and distribution of this content will not be permitted. Download links and instructions will be sent at approximately the same time that Redefining Fast will be shipped, and you will have one-on-one, timely assistance (if necessary) if you have difficulties with the downloading process."
Also: Seven months ago on the Just Athletics podcast, Brosnan said his plan was to start a non-profit, for which he was raising funds, working with a business partner. He explicitly tied a book and a pro running group to the non-profit. So "One Athletics" is apparently that nonprofit, and the plan is now being executed. Wonder when the One Athletics pro-group announcement officially happens.
I wish Brosnan well, and I'm curious about the book, but it's always risky to offer preorders on a thing before you've actually finished making the thing.

I asked Chris Lear and the book is finished. That’s why they started pre orders. It’s not unusual to start preorders early to start marketing and finish last minute edits and such. Chris seemed hyped about the book and said it was a great story. I followed the Newbury Park years closely as they were in the spotlight like everyone else. I’m looking forward to the read.
I came back to my car after the Cool Breeze Invitational last night and almost every single car in the parking lot had a little paper advertisement pamphlet for the book under their windshield wiper. Is this type of advertisement for a book typical? He must really need this thing to sell well.

As for the pamphlet it's actually a smart idea to promote at California high school cross country races. I was thinking this book definitely has some bigger budget to get two ghost writers too. I wasn't a super Newbury Park fan, but I'll read it out of curiosity.
Books are written for everything but money. It's not like Brosnan is out there himself handing out flyers. As of two days ago I saw his IG has him in Rome, Italy. This man has been to every major track meet and Diamond League. Maybe the crypto rumor is true, who knows. Although I'm wondering where is he actually living and calling home. He's everywhere from Flagstaff, Oregon, Paris, Oslo and now Italy.

It’s a self published book. There is no budget beyond whatever Sean is sinking into it.
Which is also why it costs more than most other books.
This is not Sean Brosnan’s link. I ordered from his link. They must have different links from difference people. Anyhow the discount is all the same and mine is ordered. Let’s see what this dude has to say about Newberry Park
Why am I not surprised this dude put a giant picture of his own face on the front cover?
how dare he writer of the book put a picture of himself and a picture of the top Newberry Park athletes reflection in his sunglasses on the cover. HOW DARE the author do this.
