Their coach just was banned for supplying them drugs...
All the athletes on the team? Is there an article with specifics?
No not quite true. Go see the thread about Asinga's coach. He hasn't explicitly been banned for supplying his athletes with PEDs. He's been provisionally suspended for possessing PEDs and also not cooperating or maybe tampering with an investigation.
If I was betting on this, I'd put it all on "he totally gave his athletes drugs." However, it seems no one can say for certain right now.
Obviously Asinga was higher profile and tested positive in 2023, but rumor's are going around that Skyler Franklin has tested positive as well (17 years old).
I don't believe these are entirely coincidental (e.g. both individually decided to dope) or tainted supplements. It's a sports focused school where both made massive drops so who's supplying drugs?
My thinking since Assinga testes positive is that him testing positive isn't the real story. There has to be some sort of backing for him to get access to the drug he tested positive for. The drug was canceled years ago for causing cancer. I really doubt it's in any supplements because why would it be anywhere? It's not the kinda thing that would sloppily end up contaminating another product. Some adult helped Assinga get the drug/doped assinga without his knowledge. This needs to be looked into, and the program needs to be investigated. I don't know if the team or coaches had some sort of doping culture, but it obviously can't be ruled out, and is far more plausible than assinga's theory.

They better jail this dude before he flees the country.

Taking my victory lap today.
Yes, well done. The gummy theory supporters go home devestated.
I think Dillard team should be next to look into. 8th grader was running near 3 minute 800 and then came out of nowhere and ran 2:11 and now runs 2:06. Their entire team is suspect to me.
Stop it, you must not really follow HS track & field. That little girl on Dillard was running great times as a 6th grader. If anyone needs to be investigated it’s Tyra Cox from Miami Northwestern.
