Editor's Note: Poland's anti-doping authorities have issued a statement that claims that the documents linking Polish athletes to doping are "fake," saying, "Fake news discrediting Polish athletes appeared in the public space. None of the mentioned athletes obtained a positive result and none of the dates presented correspond to anti-doping controls."
And some things about Patryk Dobek, because, as usual, nobody here knows anything. The guy was injured and had a newborn baby right after Tokyo. He is a family guy and didn't want to travel for sport camps, he splits with his old trainer. He did not have too much motivation for training/racing, because in Poland we have a system, where olympic medallists may retire after 40, with nice retirement plan. And he is a soldier. He tries to train for 400/800, but only part-time, trying to have regular family life, what is not easy, maybe impossible. That's all.
these are also great reasons to lay off the juice lol
Yeah, methamphetamine is available/used for ADHD as another poster noted (Desoxyn) and makes more sense than Ritalin (methylphenidate) as I believe Desoxyn will also boost weight loss.
Back to the original topic, this is so obviously a Russian operation that I'm not sure how anyone could take it seriously.
Exactly. I Googled last night and this story has already been out there for days and discredited as Russia/Belarus desperation. They event know which hacking group was responsible. I forget the exact name but it starts with a B.
The exact same thing will happen during the United States presidential election. Russia will have fabricated leaks in the late going and simpleton suckers will fall for it because it aligns with their biases.
What kind of leak is it that misspells the name of "Wojciech Nowicki" as "Woyciech Nowitzki" - exactly the way a foreigner would but that would never occur to a native speaker or appear in any official files?
Regarding the list seeming to be a "who's who" in Polish sports - for athletics specifically, I immediately thought of Eva Swoboda and Natalia Kaczmarek (both already mentioned here) as being absent, as well as Pawel Fajdek, Malwina Kopron, Marcin Lewandowski, Piotr Lisek, Adam Kszczot, etc. - althought that last one might be a bit dated. I'm sure there's some other notables not coming to mind at the moment, and I'm also not familiar with any other sports.
Anyways, if it's a fake, as some evidence cited in this thread seems to indicate, I wonder what motivated the "hackers" to include some notable Polish athletes but not others. Especially Kaczmarek or Fajdek would seem like easy hits since they're pretty well-known.
Great, I would like to see a list of UK/Netherlands/Germany
The thing about Germany is that they do test like crazy and are big on catching athletes. That is why they (as a nation) suddenly have nobody at the top. They are probably the cleanest country right now and have the Olympic medals to show for it! One gold and four total medals in Track and Field.
Yeah the Germans have always been virtuous people.
A few years ago a friend sent me a pic of a ripped Lewy and she was like wow for an older guy. I was like obviously doping.
Soccer covers up all its doping except the occasional sacrificial lamb like Pogba or Onana.
Considering Lewandowski is only 35 today, there's no 'older guy' aspect to it.
What was clearly suspect there is that multiple Bayern players put on muscle FAST, and many have subsequently completely failed to maintain it, have seen notable negative changes in body fat composition, not to mention look like their facial fat has rapidly declined (indicative of androgen use).
"Only 35" lol 800 and 1500 are a young man's game when it comes to world/OG medals, and he was sure keeping up with them in his late 20s/early 30s...not sus at all.

Or the Germans just really like doing testing on humans.....

They are discussing Robert Lewandowski, the football/soccer player for Barcelona and formerly of Bayern Munich.

The discussion was about hypertrophy during the covid lockdown in 2020, and the rest of my post clearly casts doubt on him (and other Bayern Munich players) being natural.
0/10 reading comprehension.
