Keely should get her due but the reality is this was a pretty weak W 800 field this Olympic cycle. ...and that played out w a pretty boring race w slow times and weak finishes by all except Keely...1:57s & 1:58s with first lap 58s and 59s is a joke for Oly finals in 800 W!
Personally I'm obsessed with Keeley and think she's in a whole different league of beauty compared to the other distance runners the these boards drool over
What's wrong with Keely's interviews? She's not full of fluff, she is engaging yet laser-focused on her task... which is always to run a faster 800. Her self-analysis is honest, taking the good but always seeking room for improvement and she never bad-mouths her competitors.
I love the fact she's so locked in and doesn't pretend she isn't. She reminds me in many ways of Seb Coe at his peak.... and now she just ran like he did in the golden age, i.e. a WR run and 3+seconds ahead of the next best in the world at her event.

Preferred looks are subjective & personal. You obviously prefer the looks of Valby. She is very good looking but I’ll take Keely all day every day and twice on Sunday.
In terms of no other American distance runners being good looking, that’s a load of crap. Just off the top of my head I can think of ESP, Emma Coburn, Keira D'Amato, Emily Sisson, Courtney Wayment, Emma Bates, Whittni Morgan. That was just me thinking about what other American distance runners that I considered beautiful. I’m sure if I thought longer about it I would have others. You might not believe those women are good looking and you don’t have to. That’s fine.
