To be fair, I think that the story was that she had a hamstring injury in April/May and that she therefore ran Trials on very little fitness, not that she ran Trials on a current injury. So, if she was already able to run 1:58 then, with very limited workouts, her camp must believe that she can drop more time now. Would they have her fly across the country just to run 1:57? Probably not, so I'll guess 1:56.4-1:56.8.

Why wouldn’t they fly her to do just that? This is a low pressure spot for her, and she probably wants the season to not be a complete loss.
I’m sure her coach is saving her for a big race.
So excited for the Mu vs. Wiley matchup. After seeing their amazing performances, the actual Team USA 800m qualifiers will surely resign en masse in a single cry of "we're not worthy!"
