She had every right to be upset with Mu debacle. It wasn't out of realm that Hurta could have made the team. She looked good until the fall.

I’m honestly kind of shocked by the hate Sage has gotten this week. She absolutely was robbed in the 800 since she is stronger than Whittaker and Wilson. Look, it’s close but she’s better than them. Regarding the push, ESP (who’s probably a top 3 favorite female runner of mine) was cutting in on Sage like she wasn’t even there. It lasted like 30 meters until Sage pushed her and then ESP rage cuts her off immediately.
I feel like a lot of the new posters on here hate to see a pretty, smart girl winning. Sad.

I'm on the fence about whether Elle or Sage was in the right, but I thought Sage reacted way too strongly, no doubt still upset about the 800m. Then I thought Elle was going to punch her, and get thrown out. At least neither went down.

Get used to the contact, ladies. Next step is the big leagues.

So OAC is such a great squad that they don't need an athlete who is 5th in the 800 in the Olympic trials and makes the semi's in the 1500? Riding anyone's coat tails she's not.

I don't really have a dog in this fight, but she struck me in the post interview as a quite nice and sweet person who was upset but simultaneously trying to be as nice as possible given the circumstances, which I think most/nearly all people here would say are pretty extreme.

Sage seems like a wonderful person, tbh. She's friendly and super smart and gorgeous. There's a contingent of weird bitter leftoids on this forum who hate pretty women like Sage and Josette. Resentful and sad!

Anyway, as I've said before, Sage would have made the 800 team had she not been blatantly fouled by Mu. 1500 is a tougher call. ESP did something dumb, not nearly as dumb as the Mu steamrolling. (I didn't watch the 1500 semis until now; I try to avoid viewing any Hiltz race as listening to Kara bumble around with the "they" bs is cringe as hell).

OAC has a dismal presence in these Trials. Three athletes entered and only Nuguse capable of achieving anything worthwhile. Andrews as usual a total disaster to the point of not even bothering to enter her second event to save face. Hurta - well let’s just say sje never made it to the 1500’finals. The rest is drama beyond the need to rehash. Both of these women need to go home and figure out what they’ll be doing next. Neit sure what they’re college majors were but chances are all they can do is coach.
