Let me be clear. I do not believe trans women or girls should compete against cis women or girls. At all. They have an unfair advantage. I think Oregon is wrong for allowing it.

I also am not going to go to the mat for this issue either as there are much bigger and pressing issues that exist, and I don't think the people who disagree with me on this issue are bad people. This is my opinion. They have theirs.

So on this issue, I am all for signing petitions, speaking up for policy change, advocating for cis girls. I am NOT for sitting in the stands and booing a kid, causing some kid, you'll never know or speak to, trauma and painful memories for the rest of their lives.

Adults boo at HS football/basketball games all the time you don’t see them complaining. As a track athlete who came from playing those other sports, a lot of you track-only ppl are very very soft.

if you were born a male compete against males even if you don’t associate with the gender. Nikki is a prime example, you don’t associate yourself as a female but you still compete as one.

Some people may write comments on forums, or letters to politicians, or even become activists on this issue, but most folks just want to live their lives and not dwell on such matters. When an opportunity pops up to take a stand with a simple BOO -- why the hell not? Because the poor little "child's" feelings might be hurt?
