It would have been much better for Trump if Hunter was found innocent. The false narrative of Biden controlling the justice system has been crashed.
Also the modelling of proper respect for a result from the justice system by democrats, makes republicans look very very bad.
It's not a false narrative. They do control the justice system which is why they had Hunter be found guilty. Now everyone can falsely say the justice system isn't rigged.
lol always another angle for you conspiracy theorists
I mean I suppose Sally's right and Putin could launch some nukes, plunge the world into a nuclear winter, and the judge won't have time to click that button to file that form
Explain how he's not a felon. You made the claim, now back it up.
Convicted on 34 felony counts.
Don't just talk out of your ass. Enlighten everyone.
Honor Roll so you need the law explained to you. No problem - happy to oblige. What we have so far is a jury verdict of guilt - nothing more. You following? Just a jury verdict. There is no conviction UNTIL the judge issues a judgement of guilt. We don't have that - so Dr. Trump no convictions.
Here's the definitions from the State of New York, court system:
conviction - The judgment of a court, based on the verdict of a jury or judicial officer, finding the defendant guilty after trial or the guilty plea of the defendant.
judgment - (1) In the broadest usage, any decision or determination of a court. (2) The statement of the decision of a court, that the defendant is acquitted or convicted of the offense(s) charged.
Nowhere is there a requirement for an issuance formal judgment entry at a sentencing.

This is why you always take the plea deal in Federal court. Jurors love the AUSAs. The AUSAs are usually some of the best trial attorneys on the criminal prosecution side. They are not easy to beat like some 26 year old county prosecutor.
Hunter Biden's attorneys got greedy and wanted blanket immunity in order to plead out two tax evasion charges and to get an agreement to not charge Hunter on the gun charge. Their defense on the gun charge was that Hunter lied all the time about where he was and what he was doing. That is a lousy defense when you do not put on any evidence showing what he was really doing when he texted that he was going to do a bunch of drugs.
But I am personally warmed to see how the gun rights folks are rushing to Hunter's defense as this is clearly an infringement on his right to bear arms. Certainly if someone who is suspected of domestic abuse can get a gun, a guy who is doing crack can also get a gun.
“The second check to Joe Biden was written on March 1, 2018, again from James and Sara. In 2018 James convinced a hospital operator, Americore Health, to lend him $600,000, which according to a later corporate bankruptcy filing was ‘based upon representations that his last name, ‘Biden,’ could ‘open doors’ and that he could obtain a large investment from the Middle East based on his political connections.’ On March 1, 2018, Americore wired $200,000 to James and Sara Biden’s personal account. That same day, James wrote the $200,000 check to Joe.”
I'm also a lawyer. What do you think having a jury verdict of guilt is? It's a conviction. He is a convicted felon.
He hasn't been sentenced. But make no mistake, he been convicted, 34 times over.
You are 100% wrong.
Convicted - having been declared guilty of a criminal offense by the verdict of a jury or the decision of a judge.
You are wrong. Read up on the law.
No, you are wrong. You're hung up on the word judgment. The State of New York does not require a formal judgment entry for conviction, only a judgment. The State of New York defines the word judgment broadly as any decision or determination of a court.
The court has already made a decision or determination. The court has determined his guilt on 34 felony counts. Thus he has been convicted. He is a convicted felon.

Stay in your lane, dumbazz.
The court has made no judgement. Only the jury. Call me if you need help with legal matters. Help alln- even those who don't know the law. Pro Bono!
And it is about to be clear as day which party is the rule of law party, that can support a just verdict, won't beotch and moan about "two-tiered justice," "lawfare" and a bunch of other crap.
He had his day in court.
Found guilty by a jury of his peers.
Lock him up.
Biden won't pardon him.
As it should be.
Republicans should take notes on how to support the institutions that make America great.
Biden won’t have to pardon him because the court will likely just give him probation. The DOJ had to bring this case because the evidence was so overwhelming that they couldn’t ignore it and still say they were being impartial with Trump. The fact is they let the tax evasion charge lapse (even though it was just as obvious) because it had more teeth and the discovery process would have further implicated the sitting president. On the off chance he is sent to prison, Biden will pardon him after he loses in November (if he is still the candidate then). Politics is ugly. Hunter’s penchant for cocaine and hookers made him an easy target for foreign entities looking to manipulate Biden.

Did Hunter Biden’s attorneys really get greedy?
it’s my understanding that people rarely plead guilty without some broader immunity from further prosecution. The Judge noted it was very poorly written and that caused the deal to fall through. And Hunters crimes were crimes that no other citizen would be charged with.

I know you think you're clever, but in this case you're just wrong.
I'm so confused. Seeing as though archvillian Joe Biden can steal elections with impunity, rig the justice system against Donald Trump and ruin and/or imprison his heroic freedom fighting cohorts like Rudy Guiliani, Peter Navarro, Steve Bannon, Jenna Ellis, John Eastman, and all of the January 6th protestors, why didn't he protect his son? Does this mean Hunter Biden is actually one of the good guys?

LOLz, anything to please and provide cover for daddy trump. Aren't you trump humpers biggest fans of letting people off the hook for "victimless crimes"? Oh but because it's Hunter now the DOJ actually went easy on him... lolz. Yeah, no inconsistency in that thinking. Politics is ugly, but your desire to continue being conned in name of owning libs is a million times uglier. You should reflect on that.
