    Sharlene Mawdsley, who beat Hodgkinson by 0.18 in this race, just ran a 50.72.

    Obviously it's far too simplistic to assume a sub 51 for KH based on this, but it can only be a good sign for her

    It's kind of wild to think she's more than 2-seconds slower than Mu at 400 (49.57 pb) but right with her at 800.

    Athing Mu has a horrible race strategy in a women's race where horrible strategy is common. Mu would run 1:53 with decent training and strategy!

    No, she wouldn't. She isn't as fast as Kratochvilova, who ran 47.9 for the 400, and you're assuming she isn't doped like an E Bloc athlete.
