According to LRC's front page article, they will be paced to target 12:50.

According to the WA article, Hassan switched from the 5k to Saturday's meet-closing W 1500 -- but she's still listed as "Accepted/Declared" in the 5k per usatf.org's entry page.

So does this mean Cole, Stewey, Nur, and McDonald are all in the A-heat?

Even Morgan stated on yesterday's newest Coffee Club podcast that he didn't know as well.

Went so far as to say he could be stuck with the hotel bill as meet management is only paying that expense for "A" race entrants.

Also, as stated on the USATF.org meet page, only "A" race competitors accumulate WA rankings points.

Have a hunch there will be significant fallout after this meet.

The final fields are awesome. In order of who I think wins:
Kiplimo, Barega, Cheptegei, Fisher, Aregawi, Mehary, Ahmed, Kurgat, Atkin, Teare, Hocker, Nur, McSweyn, McDonald.

I feel like they should've let Hacker in, though maybe he is OK with a more modest goal of getting the standard/points he needs. I'm surprised Kurgat is running just 8 days before the Kenyan 10K trials potentially.

Looks like Nur, Novak and Wildschutt are the "B" race rabbits.

Given Hacker has a 13:08 pr and looks so good in the World Indoors 3k, believe this race is being set up to give him & others a chance to get their 13:05 Oly Qs.
