Says a dude who names himself after the Newbury Park quote. Kinda of beyond CREEPY.
It's a HS team grow up and let them go
You really are an idiot. If you were to check my DL, you would note that I didn’t change my name. The Sahlmans, Youngs and Brosnan are long gone and are not a “HS team”. If I’m such a Newbury Park fanatic, why didn’t I post a single time on the 14 page “Newbury Park is back!” thread?
Please explain your thought process and how you went from me using a popular quote as a handle, to liking little boys. You can’t, and you’ll just respond another mindless insult, instead.
You stalk the former NP runners and coach. Hence your name. If your over 18 you need help

I agree. This person is textbook crazy. They need to move on with their life. Anything about Brosnan , including his quote and anything to do with the Newbury Park guys he claims to be a certified expert. It’s more than a little creepy. I hope for the love of god it’s just a kid and not an adult
It's nice to be in the US to have options on where to train and where to learn. It's interesting to see that many elite European young men and women come here as well to do the same. I encourage all individuals to make the best decision you can with the information available. Sounds like that's what a lot of runners do. I would think everyone on this board does the same. 1) Have a goal.
2) Have a certain amount of talent or resources
3) Go where you think you can achieve the most out of your talents.
With all due respect, the Sahlman brothers (esp Aaron) don't strike me as being particularly academically oriented, so I think NAU was a good choice for them.
Sahlmans are also big Trump supporters so (a) they're dumb AF, (b) they hate higher education, and (c) even aside from their political views, saying they're not "particularly academically oriented" is a huge understatement. "Drooling simps" pretty much captures it.
Is NAU a terrible academic school? I know nothing about it, but just assume it is a run-of-the-mill state school. Is it that much worse that NCSU or OK State? If you have ambitions to win an NCAA title or go pro, why not go to the best program for you and get a BS/BA degree along the way? Grad school is where it matters.
One of my best friends went to undergrad at Western Carolina before med school at Duke and spinal surgery fellowship at Emory. Kid just wanted to be in the mountains for a while to fish and mountain bike. He had to pay his own way and WCU gave him a full academic ride.
Best of luck to these kids, and to insult them on LRC by saying "they don't seem very academic" when you've seen 1 or 2 stupid internet videos is just meanspirited. I give them credit for committing to a program and looking to stay all 4 years. That shows ways more maturity than popping around to 3 or 4 programs using the portal.
