How is this the consensus? I'm not sure anyone said that. I think she will stay at Florida and compete FOR Florida as it looks like she has a year of eligibility left. She is getting a free education and making plenty off NIL.
The issue is what are NIL’s? How are pro contracts structured, as some form of insurance against injury, and regarding performance bonuses, etc.
And what about perceived signing-bonus ‘value’, in the present, versus in the future should something adverse happen?
Which Valby may have hinted at when she wrote "gogators5ever" in her Instagram post.
After either the SEC Indoor Championship or the NCAA Indoor Championship, she was asked about how she felt about competing in her first one. Her response was something like, "It is bittersweet. First one, last one."
Serious grad students select their school by it’s reputation in the area of study they want to focus on. Has she given us any indication of what that maybe? Has she completed any necessary exam’s & applications?

If she actually is going to grad school (but not competing in the NCAA, which hasn’t been confirmed either), then serious ‘pro running’ decisions (coaching, training environment, etc.) will probably heavily factor into where she goes to school. Getting a grad degree might be a back-up plan to pad the resume for when ‘pro running’ ends, but this is all speculation.
