Everybody has latched onto the wrong thing. The "scholarship" isn't important. He will be blackballed from joining many D3 teams. Too many people here throw that term around like a majority of runners are getting a scholarship. Very few do.
I don't understand how this kid would even be able to go to college. His 5k is a 26 and he obviously cannot sprint. So why is this such a big deal? His mom needs to realize that he has little to no chance of going to college whether he's racist or not.
Why has no one noticed that his times are rubbish?
