Yep, that first 100-200 is atrocious, I've been shoved and spike countless times when I've raced.
I remember a meet I was at in 2022, there were two guys who got DQ'd and officials had to false start the race because they were pushing people (like me) out of their way due to complete lack of space. Almost got DQ'd myself (according to my coach apparently)
Makes no sense. Go back to running the first turn in lanes.
