Same dance. Same dancers. It would appear that in Kenya it's open slather; men, women, kids, it just doesn't seem to matter. People can argue all they want, names and dates can be inaccurate, but the numbers don't lie. Download here to refresh one's memory.
It's the usual tactic here by the doping deniers, to go after a particular poster and avoid the subject which is yet another Kenyan bust in a continuous stream of them.
Actually, if you read this thread carefully, Coevett went after me, not the other way around, derailing his own thread by post #11. Unprovoked, he attacked me by name, suggesting I wouldn't be concerned "that most or all of those 15 U20 runners have been juiced out of their heads by coaches/managers seeking to profit from them", effectively derailing his own thread. That's a much bigger scoop, and sounds way more important than Lucy Mawia Muli (who?) busted for Efedrina, Oxycodone, and its metabolite Oxymorphone.
Then, he derailed it further, no longer interested in his big scoop, by dredging up an ancient story about Bernd Dießner from 2009, and then again by dredging up another story from 4 years ago, about a tragic Ethiopian death, an Eritrean Swedish bust, and their sports manager.
Now you accuse me of being a "doping denier", for good measure, and want to blame me for going after a particular poster and avoiding the subject simply by responding to the OP in his own thread.
That's the usual tactic here.
Post deletions show the mods look after you as usual. They have to. Your arguments fail. For you, the problem is other posters not Kenyan doping.

Thanks for the instant demonstration of your "usual tactic" in action. You employed both tactics: "(going) after a particular poster and (avoiding) the subject", and blaming me for the choices of others.
Your two problems are not exclusive. The problem can be both "other posters" and "Kenyan doping".
I just responded above to "Alex Hutchingsong" about yet another Kenyan doping bust, pointing to what WADA says about the Kenyan doping and what the AIU's Brett Clothier says about the progress of the solution.
If you are truly interested in the Kenyan doping problem, you can respond to the content of that post, either correcting any errors, or adding to it, rather than going after me and blaming me for the actions of others.
But apparently even the creator of this thread disagrees with you. I can't count how many threads he started, being the first to announce new Kenyan busts while the ink was still drying. Yet for him, the problem must also include athletes from junior World Cross Country from Kenya, Ethiopia, and Uganda; a German coach from 2009; and an Eritrean Swede, the tragic death of another Ethiopian, and their Spanish manager; not to mention "going after other posters" like me, hoaty, Spade Detecter, and Thoughtsleader -- all of this within the first two pages of this thread.

The OP is irrelevant to the subject of ongoing Kenyan doping. It is obvious doping runs through Kenyan sport at every level. They are amongst the worst of what is a global problem. Kenya is rife with corruption. Corruption in sport will follow corruption in society.

As are your posts about me.
Two relevant authorities on the topic of Kenyan doping are WADA, and the AIU's Brett Clothier, who is aggressively trying to address the problem. What do you have to say about their detailed reports and recent press statements about the factors unique to Kenya, and about the trends in doping positives?

I wonder how life is in Kenya 2024...are lots of young people poor ?..hungry etc ...? ...you know, it must take away some of the guilt of taking PEDs - IF many of the athletes are desperate to make a living etc. Especially the young up and comers. Not everyone has a solid income like The Rock.

To illustrate the complexities of this, the athlete who got busted is based in Italy.

Don't know how complex it is really. I can't imagine a lower tier Kenyan professional runner is living a glamorous life just because they moved to Italy. In fact I think it reinforces the underlying narrative of desperation to make a living etc because I think in reality it's an even more difficult life in many ways than back in Kenya.
This must be a TUE issue! Oxycodone doesn’t make you a great runner trust me on that! And If anything I have seen worse…people trying to numb pain of injuries or races. Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen are being abused for this.

I guess this desperation combined with "Kenya's unique problem" of "the sheer abundance of talent" (according to the head of the AIU) helps explain why so many Kenyans are exploited by both local doctors/chemists and foreign managers/agents.

My stepsister says she watches Kenyan pornography - and told me that they don't even have any clothes.
