Its not that easy to find all that information. State schools sometimes make it available, but I'm sure private schools will keep it under wraps.
I would keep salaries private if I was over paying some coaches and underpaying others.

curtis frye (south carolina track)-$144,375 (100k bonus for winning nats)
Here on Long Island, outside of NYC, in a wealthy suburban school district, I make $116,000 for teaching and $18,000 for coaching the 3 seasons. It's just the boys team. No one cares whether we win or lose nor how many are participating. Just as long as there are no complaints you have your job forever. Each day you coach past the last league meet you receive a hefty per diem. It can add up.
Oh, to live in the Hamptons!
Does Nuttycomb really have all that much to do with the distance squad? Isn't it mostly Schumacher? Not that I'm implying that this is the case in Wisco, as I wouldn't know, but wouldn't it suck if you were the XC coach and Track Ass. distance coach, your team was kicking ass, and your head track coach was picking up the salary for it?
head coaches make a lot of decisions. one of great importance is where scholarship money goes.......so I guess his management style is paying off!
I'm an assistant, DI, $10,000 a year.
DII XC Head Coach in the Northeast at a small private school (M/W) = $6,487
+ Asst for track = $4,000
No bonuses whatsoever
Wow, you guys seem to have it rough. That's a long ways from these other salaries! Do other sports at your schools get treated the same way?
I'm making 3.5k as a XC High School coach and 5k for High School head coach during track season.
If I was a three season coach it would be another 5k. So the total would be 13,500 for a year of coaching high school.
