Six-time world champion Noah Lyles and adidas have extended their partnership through the end of the decade, including both this year’s Olympic Games in Paris and the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. Details of the contract are not available, but the agreement involves extensive commitments both on and off the track and is the richest contract in the sport of track and field since the retirement of Usain Bolt.
Three questions.
1) If contracts are private, how can one claim it's the richest contract since Usain Bolt?
2) Do you think Lyles should be the highest paid athlete in the sport considering he's never set a WR or won Olympic gold?
3) If you were a shoe exec, which track and field athletes would you pay more than Lyles (if any)?
Do you seriously ask how it is possible to get information that isn't public available? You surely know that its possible considering you own and run a media outlet?
