Agree but it looked like McCabe never got into the right position the whole race.
Yeah, that might be the weakest part of her racing at the moment. I thought she had trouble with positioning at the close of Dr Sander as well. No excuses though; Jepkirui follows her top 10 finish at Charlottesville with another clutch performance.
Well for one thing it was not an underwhelming performance. She left Appleton and Bush liki they were jogging. For another thing the only shade I threw was directed at the poster who thought that 4:31 was a great performance, with which I disageed.
Uhh, let’s review the facts:
On yet another troll thread trashing Parker Valby, saying she went home “DEVASTATED”, someone counters with a relatively benign post saying, “It was great to see her out there racing. She was way in front and ran 4:31 solo. Very strong performance for a 5,000 meter runner who hasn’t raced since early December and was so far ahead.”, to which you replied that poster was wearing rose-colored glasses. You piled on in the manner of the topic of the thread.
Big Maatoug fan, the 33s last 200 a bit concerning considering Jepkurui closed in sub30s. Did she coast to the win, perhaps saving some energy for the 3000 tonight? How did everybody see her performance?

Oh did I hurt your feelings?
Not at all. Your post and those of your wittle buddy Armstinglives on that thread are simple reminders she still rattles around in your heads for the DEVASTATION she unleashed on your golden child this past fall.

Let it go, you’re making it weird. Other things to pay attention to on this thread today.
How do you set an indoor record on an oversized track?
Rojo making the “short track” era make sense. Indoor/Outdoor distinction is frivolous, but short track vs 300m+ ones is significant. But yes not short track/indoor as people understand it.

At the risk of hurting your feelings it was good enough to won and I don't think the win was ever in jeopardy but I would have thought she could finish a little faster

If she is also running the 3000m today, then she performed sufficiently.

Sahlman wins Big Sky 800 in 1:47 (season best) Nico came in 3rd with a 1:49 PR.
Allegations that Young doesnt have speed in shambles. Could definitely have a 1:48 on his record if he gets a good race off since he positive split'd this one.
