This thread demonstrates how weak our society has become. I've seen him called a Coach Abuser in another thread on here. I'm guessing you have never been to an NFL game. If you watch the sidelines, incidents like this happen all the time. Coaches yelling at players, players yelling at coaches, players yelling at players. Reid was just fine after the incident, he didn't consider himself a victim. Hopefully, you stick with running so you don't get your feelings hurt in more aggressive sports.
What a violent man! Who assaults their boss and gets away with it? I hope TS takes notice. The whole world just witnessed his inability to keep his composure.
Have you actually watched the full video of their interaction? Kelce barely even touches him. Definitely not assault. A classic case of a situation blown way out of proportion and the media using a facial expression of Kelce at its best/worst contortion to exaggerate effect even more. You can guarantee the media would have gone through the video footage frame by frame, pixel by pixel to find the perfect facial expression to sell the story.
It may or may not have been battery, it was clearly assault. We watched it live.
It's not about balls. It's about the heightened emotions in the game. Yelling at each other on the sidelines is common. This story just caught wind because it was Travis Kelce. How many NFL games have you watched in person? Ever pay attention to the sidelines? If you really want to see some balls... watch some MMA/UFC fights and look up the training they do

No. All of us who watched the game saw what Kelce did. He was out of line and it was the height of cowardice his coach let him off the hook.

Screaming is one thing, pushing your old man coach is another.
Kelce doesn't realize how lucky he is that Andy Reid didn't fall down. If that would have happened, his career would be over. As much as I dislike Taylor Swift, I can't believe she is with this tool. If they get married, he will probably change his last name to Swift because he is that much of a little b@#ch.

Now for what probably would've really happened if he'd knocked Reid down: "Oh F***! My bad! You okay, coach?" and he would've probably been fined at the worst by Chiefs or NFL.
and Reid would've done exactly what he did: shrugged it off and focused on the game. Oh, and Kelce's 100 yds and clutch OT reception inside the 10 or 15 helped get Reid SB #3.
That third ring puts Reid in rarified air...only Belichick, Noll, Gibbs, and Walsh have three or more...so now Reid has more than Lombardi, Landry, Shula, Johnson, Parcells...
It will also probably help land Reid a boatload of money because Chiefs may restructure his contract now. So given the Lombardi trophy, glory, and millions I bet Reid forgives Kelce.
Funnily enough - people like newname and not a fan are the same two who infect thread after thread with their inane perspectives - so this isn't a surprise at all.
As to Kelce - all football people are people are Neanderthals , so this behavior is in keeping with normal game-day nonsense. But it is just overblown media and SM hype - as Andy Reid clearly pointed out. America has become soft - maybe why it is being over-run by Mexican immigrants. Do something about that instead - then you would be contributing to solving a problem, this isn't a problem.

"All of us" isn't correct. I watched the game and saw what happened. I saw he held onto Reids arm after he lost balance so he wouldn't fall over. I've also watched Reid bump into Kelce in another game this year. There was no outrage over that. "Height of Cowardice" is a pretty extreme statement over such a small incident. Did he let him off the hook or did Reid just not care Kelce yelled at him and bumped him? From Reid's own interviews it sounded like he didn't care. Reid is a grown ass man who can handle himself.

If the "old man coach" didn't care about what happened...why do you?
