I am not being mean, but that was H.E.R. - of insurance commercial and GRAMMY appearance fame, does anyone really listen to her? - and she was not really playing the guitar. When the RHCP played in 2014, they very clearly and deliberately stated that musicians do NOT actually play their instruments during these performances. H.E.R. wasn't even trying to pretend to play the song. Good for her.

Usually only vocals are live, and even that depends on the artist. It is funny how people are told this over and over again, and clearly know it to be true, but still want to believe these artists are actually playing their instruments. But let's give Usher some credit... the guy can dance.

You Caucasians make me laugh 😂 The entitlement/privilege is on full blast. I’m black and most of my friends are black and I can tell you with 100% certainty that the VAST majority of Black folks enjoyed the halftime show….along with many whites. What makes Black artists so much better is they can make music that all races can enjoy. I don’t know one real(I don’t consider Candice Owens or Uncle Tim Scott type Blacks “real”)Black person who listens to or enjoys Aerosmith or Bon Jovi. That’s strictly music for Dwight Man.

I was on the fence on whether a leftist was in charge of the halftime show, but my suspicion was confirmed when the roller skates came out. People on the left, primary leftist men, love roller skating, and also hula hooping. If we continue on the path of letting the left program the halftime show, in a few years it will be spoken word poetry, interpretive dance, or maybe an abbreviated Broadway performance of cats.

I got high late in the second quarter and that halftime show was pretty great.

If you didn't like Usher you are either:

1) Too old, pack it in. Pop culture has passed you by

2) Too young. You're basically still a child stop complaining to the adults.

Ushers last hit was No limit (#32) in 2016: 8 years ago.

Ushers last number 1 single was You Remind Me in 2002: 22 years ago.

Neither of these singles above were 30 years ago.
