Don't the dopers go to Kenya or Ethiopia for several weeks then re-emerge with a new found form? Sort of like what LeBron did in Miami. Visits a (HGH or EPO) specialist/doctor then suddenly is the hulk in peak form.
"Trains at altitude" in Kenya or Epiopia then emerges as a world beater. Not saying Molly is doing this, doubt she ever would, but it's a tendency for other top runners to say the least.
Molly Seidel has re-emerged just before the marathon trials after going missing on all her social media for 3 weeks. But what she posted is cryptic after all this time. It is an Instagram story from her showing the flowers she got from KT Tape. The flowers are in a glass vase on her countertop with a handwritten card signed by KT Tape.
What is the meaning of her Instagram storyafter disappearing for all this time before the most important race of the Olympic cycle (yes, the marathon trials are more important than the actual Olympic marathon because you actually need to place top 3 to even make the team).
I think Molly's Instagram story is about "get well soon" flowers from her sponsor that knows she is unfit for the trials, most likely with a knee injury from her previous recent complaints. I don't think Molly will be a contender with all the recent evidence seen.

I follow Molly on Strava. Based on her training runs, assuming the data is accurate, she's not in elite shape. No criticism intended, but I don't think she'll be top 5. Again, this is just based on what she posts publicly on Strava.
