16x, you are truly unbelievable. One, I have only posted under 2 names on this thread, the initial post under Equal pay? and the last 2 on this one. There is no way to prove that although I sure wish I could.
Secondly, where the heck did you find that website? It has nothing to do with my stats. I google searched for "sat scores" and "male vs female". Do the search yourself - it is the FIRST website that comes up! That's why I clicked on it. However, just to find another source, I pulled the 2001 World Almanac off the shelf. I assume this must be an unbias source. There were some discrepancies in the numbers with what was posted on that website and I have no idea why. However, the male scores were still higher than female scores, both math and verbal, in every year shown (1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2000). Hey, I wanted this thread to discuss road race winnings, not education. You brought that up yourself. If you can't handle the scores presented, go check out the almanac yourself. As far as I'm concerned, the discussion of education is over. This is a running board.
Some other people on here, males actually, have presented some legitimate arguments, such as scotth, "I didn't see you note that women have only had the kinds of competitive advantages and opportunities (that men have had for 3000 years) for a mere 25 years or so. I see a decided discrepancy there. That, my friend, is THE explanation why there aren't equal numbers of competitive men and women."
That's called presenting an argument. You've posted like 10 times and presented nothing. Both my posts presented statistics - the first only stats from races, the second applying those statistics for an objective argument and offering an additional subjective explanation. What I hoped for was people providing evidence, especially statistics which I love to analyze, to support both points of view. Obviously, that hope was in vain. Yourself and others, including myself in one post, have sent this discussion spiralling downward and to the point that running is not even being discussed anymore.
