Paul is a good guy- the coaches in the western suburbs of Chicago are all really good. Chris Quick was a good one as well. Well, still is but not at a high school.

I was curious what Herriman and American Fork's freshman and sophomore times were. These are based off of 5k prs. I did 9th grade for everyone unless they didn't run then.

The new Ventura coach blew it with a NXN caliber team on the Boys and Girls. He really screwed things up

I don't know the deal or what happened, but Spiker was handed as good of a situation that I've ever heard of.

Mountain Vista girls team is also in a similar situation.
So they lost their 2-4 from last year, but how did they overcome that? Those 3 spots were filled by three new transfers. They have no seniors now, and also ANOTHER transfer (Edwards) from Valor Christian who is a junior and didn’t race much this year. Look for them to potentially win NXN next year. Air Academy is losing Michalak, and Mountain Vista is losing no one AND adding Edwards.

Well before the Hunters took over (which was 2013), Loudoun Valley was not able to qualify for the state meet

Has anyone done it faster than 2 years? Soles did it in 2 years at a new school, Brosnan and the Hunters in 4 years. Anyone faster than that? How he did it this fast without any transfers in his top 7 is beyond me. That is crazy!
