Leul dropping 16 sec. Could be gone along with bekele and molla
It's live on YouTube.
Bekele pushing up ahead of Leul and Molla now, trying to catch the lead pack!

Yep, they dropped a 14:08 5k. Below WR pace through 15k now.
Kandie looking good at 16km......and Geay, Tanzania. These 2 should finish top 5, at least. Bekele in 2nd group....trying to claw back....
I rally don’t like these ugly high rise apartment blocks so popular in otherwise beautiful European cities.
going to sleep on the east coast, saying a prayer for Bekele now. Let me wake up to a bad ass result
It's embarrassing for US marathons the difference in the quality of the broadcast. No sobbing stories, good side by side action, showcasing elites from all over the world, national records watch through the race
"Great article by Jonathan Gault of Letsrun [mentions some stat]" Timestamp @ ~58:45 racetime.

Valencia is 15% gorgeous (+ nearby beach) and 85% cheap overbuilt Franco nightmare.
Great cheap food, though!
Going to be carnage in the secodn half for many of these guys.
60:35 at the half.

I wonder if someone in the lead pack wanted to go faster so they have a chance at the WR. They were going for 1:01:00
1/2 in 1:00:35
For sure. Wild pace. Chep still looking good
Bekele gaining on lead group.....looking good! 60:58/half way....
60:58 through halfway for Bekele. He's in no man's land but maybe? Just maybe?..... c'mon
Bekele: 60:59 halfway

US could learn a thing or two! Showing real runners and not people on wheels that don't belong in a run! Plus none of these side stories, just the runners!
