Stephens must be running very well for them to run her attached as a true freshman this early. Or perhaps others are injured? Whete is Loveys? I hope we see strong showings from Chmiel and Bush.
I'll take Lengole ftw. Curious to see where she and Olemomoi finish in relation to NCst top runners, Markezich, and Tuohy's 15:50 from last year.
Dittto on Lengole and I expect fireworks from Chmiel, Markezich and Olemomoi mixing it up. Is Markezich fit enough to hang with the leaders and produce the same blistering close we've seen from her over 3k? Or will 10k strength carry the day?
I'm mildly concerned Chmiel may not be fully healthy based solely off Tuffy's report that NCst is not 100%. Just a rumor so guess we will see!
Chmiel's 5k XC PR is 16:14 on this course in 2021, did not run the meet last year. Markezich is 16:17 from this meet, 2022.

Should be a good one!
Agreed.
I’m thinking with those two, as well as Alabama’s duo, that its going to be a FAST race.

Yep, and apart from Chmiel's result, I imagine Wolfpack fans will be pleased if Markezich is the only Irish runner finishing ahead of Bush.
Hartman in 9th but I expected her to be a bit higher.
More important things in less than a few months.
I expected Olivia Markezich to challenge FTW but still a good showing.
I think Tuffy posted yesterday that Bush "was not 100%" and might not have raced today. So my read on that is that she will be fine eventually, but must be on her way to getting back to fully healthy (from either minor injury or sickness). I think she'll be fine in the long run. Still two months away from nationals. Bush has been rock solid for the last 2 seasons.
