So is this why she hasn't raced much in 2023 (before she announced her injury)? So she would work on a book?
SMH....reading is fundamental. She literally said she has been working on it for the last 2 years.

She claims in the preview shared above that she became a Christian between 2016 and 2022. Was she not a Christian when she attended Union Catholic? Is she Catholic now? Are Catholics Christians?
Lots of peeps attending Catholic school just pretending and going thru the motions....
Hard pass.

bring back prayer in school
Prayer is already *in* school. What do you think happens before a big test?
Oh--you mean "bring back forced religious observance of the kind that I approve." Sorry, we have that pesky "Constitution" thing that prohibits that in public schools.

Message to Sydney, Alan Webb, Jim Ryun, et. al.: NO ONE wants to hear your freaking non-sensical proselytizing. Constantly ramming that crap down the throats of anyone within ear-shot only *loses* you fans.
Dathan Ritzenhein, AFAICT, is a pretty devout Christian, too. Ya now what's so great about Dathan?? He almost never freaking TALKS about it.
(Probably because he's smart enough to recognize the stupid proselytizing convinces NO ONE, but does undoubtedly piss a bunch of people off.)
You seem to imply that she cares about whether she will lose fans by talking about God, which she for sure does not. If she wanted to, she could be much more well known than she already is.
I for one am happy that she's doing what makes her happy (if she is). Probably won't read the book (maybe if there's an online version I'll check it out) but hopefully the target audience enjoys it.
I think she is brainwashed by her husband
I'm sorry. I just can't with all the God talk from her. Literally every time she gives an interview, God is mentioned redundantly.
I just wanna hear about your training & mindset, etc. not how much the Lord means to you. We get it.
Also it makes me curious - an athlete as talented, and beautiful as her, I wonder how many companies/sponsors pass on her due to her evangelicalism. Not that she would really care, but it does make me wonder.
Regardless, she's crazy talented and I love watching her compete!

Who are the atheist world class runners?
Lou,
Sounds like you are like me in that you are ready for some athlete to come out and write a book giving YOU the credit and the glory. With maybe a chapter on sacrificing goats, and virgins and stuff in those rituals.

as a born-again atheist, all this god and the book of fairy tales talk offends me. but she is so beautiful, i pretty much overlook it. unfortunately, i will not being buying her book as i follow her track exploits, i am not interested in her personal life at all.
Being religious in 2023 with access to the Internet is crazy.
She looks like someone from a cult. Doesn't speak like a normal person and most of what she says are pre-programmed messages.
Her pastor is a lucky man. She must give him gobs of money.

So if God helps you in a race isn’t that unfair & cheating, let’s be honest now.
It's not even prohibited yet. But sketchy grey area for sure.
