I guess I would be a hypocrite if I didn't admit that it crossed my mind. However, I am pretty certain that our drug testing program is robust enough to catch that and we should assume that she is not unless she fails drug tests or other evidence comes forward. I don't really understand why you feel it so necessary to rain on someone else's parade.
Because I don't think any of the top championship performances now are clean. That is professional sport. Testing catches very few; most who are doping are never caught.
She’s probably running the standard cycle of “PEDs” which everyone else is at this level. But there’s nothing about her progression that indicates that she’s blasting large amounts of steroids giving her an unfair advantage. She didn’t pop out of nowhere like Lamont Jacobs, nor did she instantaneously vanish like he did.
The only thing I find fishy about shacarri is her whole marijuana suspension. Seems like a clever cover-up/ way to mask what’s really been going through her body. But that’s extremely unlikely, way more unlikely than SFP and company continually improving into their thirties and not passing the eye steroid eye test.
Ah yes, only doping improved since the 1960s and 70s. According to the great expert Armstronglivs, training didn't improve at all. It's all doping.
I didn't say that. I have said improvements in training, technique and equipment aren't sufficient to explain the extent of performance improvements in recent decades; there will be something more and it is doping. But that is a distinction you are unable to follow.
With Gatlin as coach, there will be questions. Ask yourself whether you'd hire a twice-caught doper as a coach for yourself or your child. Nevertheless, the slight changes in muscle mass that you see in her are not at all beyond the range of clean lifting possibilities. Seeing how much muscle mass my daughter has put on clean with lifting at practice and at the gym with me, and with no inclination, knowledge, access, or resources for doping, has proven to me that there is plenty of opportunity to bulk up without doping if you're not a distance runner and you lift heavy and repeat your muscle groups, especially for people unlike me who have that predisposition to add muscle.

Do you still have memories of Jesse Owens in '36?
I have clearly observed the sport longer than you have.

No one coached by a twice-convicted drug cheat will be clean. It is his modus operandi. No one who is running like Flojo will be, either.

It's easy to make a statement like that when you have no evidence to back it up.

You haven't followed this issue very long or in any detail, have you?
