Neighbors complain about woman's 5am runs

I am in a FB group that does not allow publicizing Ring or Alexa in any manner.

Yesterday, a vid of smash and run car thieves was removed because it was tagged in the vid with "ring.com".

Perhaps if people start coming down on crime for a change there wouldn't be a need for security lights. Or runners fearing for their safety.

Never let your wife run at 5 am, too dangerous.

Isn’t the point of the lights to let you know someone is near your house? Everything is working as intended.

Yeah. The runner has more of a nuisance complaint against all of the folks with lights and dogs that activate when she's on public right-of-ways.

Crime is almost non existent where I live but we have a security light. The front yard is dark and it's nice to be able to see as we come and go at night.

I have to follow up on all those upvoting relating to women being ‘crazy’ in their later years. Likely they are going through menopause, which means shifts in mood, hormones, hotflashes, etc. also a marked increase in sex drive. It’s a bit sad that mature men are not more dialed in to their partner’s needs; no wonder the culture of the “cougar”.
