I remember Hank Gathers and Ryan Shay and a handful of others pre-COVID. My wife's good friend died in her sleep as a college soccer player. It certainly does happen, and has happened for decades. The heat induced deaths are not the same thing, people dying in hot marathons or two a day football practices is another issue. I don't have all of the data, but there seems to be an uptick in heart issues in the last two years.
I'm not posting this as an anti-vaxxer (I got the vax), but I think we should be digging into this more than the Biden laptop or fires in Canada. One of the healthiest guys I know passed away suddenly (no drinking or drugs); he was in his late 30s back in 2021 before these reports were coming out. Maybe it's confirmation bias, but the little bit that I've read seems to indicate a higher than expected death rate or heart issues and blood clots for healthy young people.
We may never get the real answer because:
a) The government pushed the vaccine
b) It is likely very difficult to determine if there is an uptick, whether it was from the vax or the virus
c) There is not much we can do about it now, other than outlawing future mRNA vaccines if there is a causation link that is found.
To say now it's absolutely the vax or absolutely no link to the vax is not helpful. What will be helpful is long term studies that cross reference historical data, and isolation of people who got the vax but not COVID and vice versa.

1) PED related.
2) Illicit drug related.
3) Covid related
4) Vaccine related.
5) Random / fluke. Teens don't normally have heart attacks but they sometimes do.

Yes, I very definitely noticed this and brought it up on the Covid vaccine thread many months ago, only to be castigated by the “experts, lol” over there. I also know half a dozen people now who’ve actually died or been severely compromised from cardiac conditions. All young and healthy but multi-vaxxed. Haven’t seen any of this among my unvaxxed family & friends. Just anecdotes though, observational data, no clinical relevance.
Like this one just today. It’s every day.
Amazingly, the study ignores the obvious confounder in the vaccines during this time frame. A real genuine study would at least consider it. Its author is also funded by Gilead, the maker of Remdesivir 🙄. Groupthink is dangerous.
