She hasn't suffered at all. And all of this criticism will largely go away if she chooses to tell the truth and help rehabilitate the sport. It happened for Landis it happened for Hamilton. She's making a choice to lie.

I checked the USATF entries and it looks she’s not going to be competing. I doubt if running a beer mile makes up for that.

Shelby closed in 63, which is on par with what half the DL 1500 field in Stockholm closed in today without drinking the 4 beers. When her ban is up, game over. She’ll be enjoying a beer and really authentic Mexican food by the time her competition has even finished.
It seems like a stunt for many reasons. I'm shocked that no one mentioned the biggest consequence of her participation in this event....this could be a violation of her suspension. The 4 year clock should be reset today.
Can we step back and acknowledge how good this broadcast was compared to most track and field? There are a bunch of LetsRunners who like to hate on the beer mile but maybe track and field coverage should learn something from the beer mile? Much more entertaining and higher quality production than anything Flotrack and others have ever put together

Yeah sure production was great, flotrack sucks, runnerspace sucks, anything Chris Nickinson touches turns to ash.
They still invited a doper to their stupid event, and interviewed her like she a queen while she grinned and giggled.
